I read it, and i liked what you wrote.. usually i don't ponder over public scripting, but this time i just happened to. something very unique, yet a little cliche' about your experiences.. I also went through pretty much the same with regards to overcoming fears in life...several kinds of.. But i'd say overcoming fear is not a one time activity, our perception of insecurities in life (fear) ranges in patterns, just that we see it differently every time. Fear is a state of mind, you may not like it but its not humanely possible to to be fearless at all circumstances.. in fact our mind doesn't work like that.. It comprehends comfortable thoughts as an answer or conquest to our fears. we justify to ourselves that, this ain't fearful anymore. but as our nature, we are bound to be insecure, because we live in a world of "means to an end".. and dealing with such a world, every day makes us insecure.Yes one can free his /her mind of all insecurities.. just like he (tagore) puts in poetically - Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high" .but really, without being insecure its not possible to recognize what we are capable of conquering or overcoming. I think being insecure is a process of becoming aware of ourselves.. and there's nothing wrong in it.. Its like going through a furnace to know your melting point..Also.. i don't completely agree that society has been unfair (or at least is unfair today) to women.. Largely we as a civilization have evolved from that "man makes the bread" and "stronger and weaker sex" kind of orientation, but my dear that was stone age to us.. Our generation should only see it as "what used to happen" , in today's world (especially the world you are in today) women are a foundation stone of this modern society. you as an individual must have had your struggle as a woman, a daughter, a friend etc.. but what im trying to women today are as liberated as they can be ... ofcourse in certain part of the world which happens to be the ultra-free society..

but i liked your learnings from the movie..

Keep writing, you write well.. I do write a lot, but never blogged too much.
found your blog through your orkut profile..
